Our Story

Where it all Started

During an evangelism mission to Kyikusa in Luwero District, our co-founder Bravel encountered children living in deep poverty—many out of school, lacking basic necessities, and with limited hope for the future. What impacted him most was not just their immediate needs, but how the absence of opportunity had restricted their life choices.

Moved to respond with more than short-term outreach, Bravel felt called to create lasting change. He later connected with Bryan, a social worker experienced in nonprofit work and passionate about empowering children and families. United by faith, compassion, and a shared vision, they founded Hope Restored in 2023.

Today, Hope Restored is committed to restoring dignity, meeting real needs, and creating pathways of hope for underprivileged children and families across Uganda.

Hope Restored exists to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to underprivileged families and children through empowering, restoring dignity and purpose, bring sustainable transformation in communities and nations with acts of love, hope, and generosity.

Bridging the education gap by equipping over 100 plus underprivileged children with essential school kits, books, and full tuition support to some. Support girls to stay in school through providing reusable sanitary pads and so much more.

Seeds of Hope Sustainability ​

Empowering communities through subsistence farming, starting with coffee and food crops, with plans to replicate sustainable farming practices across multiple communities.

Restored Kids Program

A mentorship and development program that nurtures children’s talents, builds confidence, and supports their educational and personal growth.

Menstrual Hygiene Training

Educating girls on menstrual health and hygiene, distributing sanitary products, and promoting awareness for safer and healthier practices.

Christmas Party / Camp

A festive celebration bringing joy to children through fun activities, games, gifts, and holiday cheer, fostering community and togetherness.

Love day Outreach

A community-driven initiative providing bedding, clothes, and essential items to underprivileged families, while empowering children through talent programs and life skills training.

Helping children start the school year prepared by providing uniforms, stationery, and learning materials to ensure no child is left behind.
