I live with my mother and my father, Akello Gladys and Mr. Ntulume Patrick. My father works as a fisherman and also rears sheep and cattle to support our family. I go to The Lord Cares Nursery and Primary School, where I am continuing my studies. My favorite subject is Science. I enjoy playing football, and I am a member of the school football team. My dream is to become a footballer. One of the biggest challenges we face is school fees. My mother works very hard to raise money for my education, but I am often sent back home because of unpaid fees, which greatly affects my schooling. Despite these challenges, I have received loving care and encouragement from the HOPE Restored family. I have learned to live with good morals taught in the Bible, and we were also visited by HOPE volunteers during last year’s Christmas, which made us feel remembered and loved. At home, I sleep on tutundu mabali together with five relatives, while my parents sleep on a mattress. Because of these conditions, my siblings—Kisakye Rebecca, Mugaru Rogers, and Kisolo Anderson—and I often fall sick with malaria. My role model is Cristiano Ronaldo, and he inspires me to work hard and never give up on my dreams. My favorite scripture is John 14:6.
